mad1
I once heard there was a prob with something about the frequency or that might have been a short lived mk2 I might be wrong mind Saying that I will be gettin a mk3 next cos I like the fact you don't have to keep taking batteries out of collars
cliff 87
I will get them to meet me as its a bit far to go whats the best why to test it out ?
mad1
Try it Put fresh battery's in collar before you put them down for first time just incase then you know it's not the battery's fault if it goes off

Luckyshot
Type 394 batteries are for use in 16ft Mk3M magnetic collars and a PP3 for the finder itself.

THE GRIFF
Alot of people have had problems with the mk3 including myself, I currently have 6 collars and 2 of them went back after 8 months and replaced free of charge under warrenty. The mk 3 is an excellent bit of kit when you know how to use it properly and in my oppinion is alot better and more accurate than the mk1. Some people would disagree, normally people that are stuck in there ways and can't get used to new things or people that have had problems with the mk3 and gone back to the mk1. If you by new you will be covered for 12 months under the warrenty, where's if you buy 2nd hand you have no comeback.
cliff 87
Thanks for that so they are not 393 batteries they are 394 can you get out of any shop, is the mk3m the same as mk3 ??
compo90
wouldn't be without my mk3m......the mk3 collars are ****, the newest ones are better for the ferret to wear, mk2 was a stepping stone but was actually worse than the mk1 which was at least simple.......
