Livefast123
What would be the chances of being granted 2 x .22lr's on my first FAC grant, one for daytime vermin control and one for vermin control at night, don't fancy transferring kit everytime. Would anyone ask for anything else for general farm work, may be a few foxes around but don't fancy a mentoring condition as I don't know anyone who could do it. Being given far to much time to think about my needs and being new to the FAC form only entered FAC air and .22lr x 1. Need to add the mods as well Edited January 11, 2012 by Livefast123
bedwards1966
I can't see why you shouldn't get 2x 22lr's, it's good justification. I think it may depend on your force, but if you can find someone to 'train' you on a fox calibre, you may not get a mentor condition, if you can prove you've been taught the basics first, at least it worked that way for me on a first app for a .243. Probably worth putting in for something if you can, better to have it on there and come across a mentor at some point or let that condition expire than not have anything suitable for foxes at all. CZ550Kevlar
Kent hate replica calibers, they gave me .223, .22-250, .22lr & .17hmr on my initial grant with no conditions but wouldn`t give me 2 x .22lr i had to wait just under 9 months to ask again and be excepted at which point they gave it to me and opened my licence.
