deny essex
Just been rigging my old vhs and pc together to transfer some old family vids to dvd. Came across all of "jacks game " videos, john darlings "hunters secrets", a shooting times pigeon shooting with coates and batley and a jim Albone vid. Been sitting and watching while the mrs is out , plenty of tips even as old as they may be, no rotarys , no flappers, no denys dippas etc but a real good nostagia trip and packed with lots of tips that still work today. Now that ive made myself feel real old remembering my early learning years of shooting and teaching my young son I need fortifying or maybe sixtyfying Well worth a look see for tips on these vids/dvds if available for any newbie to pigeon shooting

Blackpowder Most of that is pod shatter. Best cut in the evening when the damp comes down a bit
pigeon controller
These were the days that fieldcraft out weighed the gadgets and gismos. If you had an idea you went and made the article and used it in the field for your own advantage. Over the years I've made hand flappers, mechanical flappers, magnets, lofters and even birds flying out of tree into your pattern on a string. The one thing you need in fieldcraft.
