I have just ordered one and was told it will be 2 - 3 weeks as the barrels are away to the Birmingham Proof House. This info came direct from Edgar Bros as the dealer rang them in front of me (he had stocks of 28" but I ordered a 24" as a hide gun) I have looked at a couple of other dealers websites and their sites now state "Proofed in Birmingham" which I don't remember them stating previously. They kept telling me stories this that and the other. To be honest, they really are dreadful with production speed, but I guess they are a small company in great demand! I think that Brum is busier and more pro-active, but London is desirable for snobbery value with 'Best' guns. Yes Hatstands & Webley & Scott Turkish imports are proved at Brum.
