Guest
I'm relatively new as this game, and I'd like advice on what type of scope to use as a beginner (magnification, objective lens size etc). Thanks
M.I.A
Whatever you go for the key to anything airgun related is get to know how your set up works A good 3-9x40 will do you well
Dekers
I'm relatively new as this game, and I'd like advice on what type of scope to use as a beginner (magnification, objective lens size etc). Thanks It's very simple, the one you can see the target with, whatever that may be. There are 1000's of scopes out there, pretty much all of them work, go to any rifle club and you will probably see as many scopes as rifles, and everyone puts them on the target. Get what you like and can afford, and a reticle that works for you. There is no magic scope!
bedwards1966
For an airgun you won't go wrong with a 3-9 magnification x 40mm lens. They don't have the range for anything needing higher power magnification, parallax adjustment or anything like that, and a cheap scope should be fine. That's assuming you're using it out and about for plinking/pest control etc, if it's for target shooting you may possibly want something different. the enigma
Yep, have a look through as many scopes as possible. Some people like scopes with high magnification, others like lower levels........... it's all down to personal preference. One thing I'd recommend is a mil dot reticle.......it'll give you loads of different aim points for different ranges.
