went out last night with the .22 lr fitted with pulsar gs addon and laser illuminator been finding it a fiddle on the hmr as scope has fine crosshair but the .22 has a hawke scope which works fine.well the night wasnt ideal clear sky, moon and no wind but beats sitting in started off around on quad and ground was rock hard with frost making progress a bit more noisy but first rabbit was sitting on a nice bank perfectly backstopped at 60yds clear as day in scope and second later he was in the bag moving on around field shot another that rolled down bank but couldnt find it in gauze bushes ,reached next field spotted 3 rabbits outside warren i know is 75 yards away took aim 2nd in bag one ran couple feet then stopped and added 3rd to tally, couple more but out at 140 yds so save them for hmr, moved on to horse field pulling into gate saw 5 rabbits spread out at 80 yds and one slightly in hedge so took him first rest didnt budge until took another then all bolted for cover but were still visible with nv managed to bag final bunny there, leaving there entered field spotted rabbit that bolted as someone nearby on other land was trying to call a fox and sqeaking had spooked things :sly: but moved further on and found rabbits out bagging a further rabbit before heading home as had early start in morning but well impressed so far with nv and .22 setup atb nick

hi mate you keeping ok .yeah it took me bit getting used to adjusting things ect but now have it sorted hardest part was judging range at night but i set out few targets during day on farm at random ranges then at night shot them this really helped me out loads .its great with nv as you have all time in world for the shot they just keep nibbling away unlike with lamp on them :good:
