nobber
Hi guys - after a bit of advice please. How easy is it to remove the foresight from the deluxe 10/22 model? Also can anybody recommend an over the barrel moderator for the 10/22 please? Many thanks in advance for your help.

welshwarrior
As stated front sight drifts out I had a Wildcat Growler about the sme as my SAK and PH but it made the rifle shorter cost alot more. Sold it that cash paid for the barrel to be shortened and another SAK for the 10/

deershooter
Why would you want an over barrel mod for a rimfire when the barrel can be shortened seems a waste of money ? Deershooter
nobber
Deershooter - I havn't ruled out shortening the barrel - in fact that's probably what I'm leaning to now. Do you have any experience regarding the cost for shortening and re-threading? Thanks
deershooter
Most Gunsmiths charge about £35-40 to cut down and rethread which when you add to the cost of a rimfire silencer its much cheaper than an over barrel silencer. In all my years I have never come across a over barrel silencer for a rimfire only a fully silenced barrel. Pointer
If your standard barrel groups inside a jam jar lid at 50yds, then you have a good un, I would personally not cut it down, but get it swapped out for a custom jobbie from syss. Your gonna be hard pushed to find an over the barrel mod for the rimmy, just put a SAK/PH on it.
