ilovemyheckler
I need some ear protection and I like the look of the custom made ones either; 1. CENS Sonic valves or 2. Emtec Noisebreaker I don't want to spend £100's and both of these are around or just under the £100 so does anyone have any experience of either of the above or any recommendations for any other custom made at around the £100? Thanks
station
Hello, I have custom moulded ACS Sonic Valves - they cost £84 from Boots Audiology (David Ormerod Group) Great fit and do the job Worth a look at. ATB
garjo
Got emtec - do the job - only problem I had was getting local audiologist to do the moulds - they seemed rather keen to sell me CENs ala circa £500 - in the end perservance prevailed and found emtec and great company to deal with - so yes would recommend emtec

Dibs
Hello, I have custom moulded ACS Sonic Valves - they cost £84 from Boots Audiology (David Ormerod Group) Great fit and do the job Worth a look at. ATB Website - www.hearingprotection.co.uk (custom sonic valves) I have these as well. Bought from a local hearing centre. Had them four years now and absolutely brilliant. Simple and nothing to go wrong plus you can change the valves really easily - not that I have had to. Money well spent. sodit
Have a look at http://www.noisebreaker.com/hearing-protection-for-shooters I am in the same position trying to make up my mind
Dibs
My mate has the noise breakers and one of the plastic inserts fell out in the snow last year. They are tiny and it was lost. Pence to buy but nothing to fall out on the sonic valves and they are truly reactive to noise unlike some others. Pays your money and takes your choices.
