Cosd
It's surprising how moving the magnet can make such difference to the reaction of the pigeons.
Big Tel
Pigeons would not come past magnets so moved them about 10 ft away from hedge and 15 ft up left and right from hide ended up with 37 lovly decoyed pigeon been pigeon shooting for years closest ive had magnets I had to take my magnet away in the end last saturday. I then put out 2 hipa flappers up and they started coming back in, must of got somthing wrong with the magnet. Then the rain really put an end to it. Daany
Always put mine strait infront of hide about 10 yards out iv found it works better there also if it's windy snap the wing on the lft side ( the wing closest to the motor) and dnt conect it to owt leav it hanging lose, this adds alot more movement and looks like it's folding it's wing in and out works alot better
bakerboy
I like to place my magnet upright, at about 45's, this give the appearance of a bird diving in to land as the arm just brushes the ground. The effect is quiet realistic, rather than 2 birds albeit at differing heights just going around and around, give it a try
pigeon controller
I will keep moving the magnet to different positions all day.
kippylawkid
I use 2 flappers - magnet confined to back of the garage - scares more often than it attracts
