EdSolomons
Just do the thinking before you get in the cage. Exactly it. All the hard work is done in the 6ft behind the cage so when your in it you know exactly what to expect and what to do. You won't find may people putting big scores in who don't do this. Sandbank
After 6 pages there is probably not much new to add. Lots of good advice here: Do your thinking before you enter the stand, less when you are shooting. Develop a good swing and don't stop your gun. Shoot with tighter chokes than you may ultimately use so you know for sure where your shot is going. Position your feet so you are facing just past the killing point and be prepared to adjust for each bird of the pair. I reckon stance/position of feet is an often underestimated component.
