Charliecloud
Are they worth the money ? Has anybody brought some and then thought ...mmmm! I shoot mainly DTL and other trap disciplines and have been looking at the Hawk 3 lens set. The sales guys all say yes! - but I would like to hear it from those that have brought and used them. JustJon
I was shooting with someone a month ago and asked if I could try them on. I watched a long range bird with my "cheap" shades and then with the Pilla's on - the definition definately improved and I can see how you'd pick up the clay quicker and easier with them on! Penfolio
They're not cheap but those lenses are outstanding.
landyboy
the max orange lenses are great for orange clays against a green background which most trap layouts are ! for black clays just stick to clear !
figgy
To me they can't be beaten, I have tried loads of cheaper glasses some with interchangeable lenses and none come close to pilla spex so I bought a set after trying friends first, they are the only glasses I would rather wear than not wear any as I can see the clays better with them on, all other lenses altered my vision slightly these do not.Try some lens choice does differ for backgrounds clays and weather so try a few. Dibs
I have the Panthers and the Blades before that. Money well spent they are excellent. Expensive but I still expect to be wearing them in ten years time so looking at it that way it's a cheap investment for a sport you enjoy. Charliecloud
Thanks guys - looks like it's a Yes to purchase some then!
Drayman
If they work for you - then they work for you, and I suspect they are made to a high quality. But I've just been through their website and looked at their "science" and claims and most of it is absolute boswelox! I would love to see their data but, somehow, I doubt they would share it! As always, you pays your money and you takes your choice.
