wildfowler.250
Does anyone know what the very long choke for the browning maxus is? Is it an 'extra full' or is it something different? Thanks in advance
P~MX
it's usually 1/2 -- that's what I got with mine
wildfowler.250
Did you not get something like 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full and then a choke thats about 3X the length of the others? Surely it can't be 2 half chokes? Cheers for the reply btw! I am not saying you're wrong by any means, I'm just a bit confused Edited March 4, 2012 by wildfowler.
TbirdX
Mines a half also. I thought it was a 'super full' for turkeys but it's not.
wildfowler.250
Thanks guys looks like they come with 2X half chokes then. 'superfull' would have been a better addition! Cheers again!

wildfowler.250
I sees, any idea what the difference between the long 1/2 choke and the short 1/2 choke is? Cheers again

wildfowler.250
Ah I see, it shoots steel shot better than the standard?
coyotemaster
I did a little search but couldn't learn anything. I am betting it is designed as a waterfowl tube with a long parallel section for steel and hevi shot. Modified would make sense if that were it's intended purpose.
