Fisheruk Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 I'd trap them, a Fenn Mk6 will do it. You can't count on a normal fence panel to stop a pellet. There are guidelines to setting traps so as to avoid killing non-target species. Don't use a Fenn trap. There are reds in Cheshire North Wales and Merseyside. It is illegal to kill a red. I suggest you find a nice safe spot in your garden, preferrably on the ground and then bait them down to the spot with peanuts where you can safely shoot them with your ar.
