Can anyone throw any light on a leak which is dripping onto the near side of the passenger footwell and is coming off a nut/bolt which is positioned just forward of the front of the glove box? Also, is there supposed to be what appears to be a drain hole in the external plastic trim just in front of the spot on the 'screen where you'd normally put the tax disc? Schern Posted March 9, 2012 Report Share Posted March 9, 2012 Air box for ventilation system? These usually have a gromet at the bottom for drainage and these can get clogged. Water then builds up and overflows into the vents and usually exits by the feet vents but maybe there's a leak higher up in the ducting. It's dripping/running onto that from the outside skin somewhere and tracking down - you can see the rust trail - until it comes off the nut/bolt.
