Nikko DTL gun for sale - quite a long gun with extension so probably suited to someone 6'+ (sorry, don't have measurements). It's had a lot of use historically - ejectors warn so need to be a little bit careful as cartridge can slip past ejector on loading but gun still works fine. £75 ono. Face to face and SGC required. You could look at getting a homeplug set. So you'd plug one in next to your modem and run a lan cable from modem to the plug and then have the wifi transmitter plugged in to the extension cable in the summer house. If you believe the new BT advert though (I think it's BT anyway) there new HomeHub can give up to 250m range on WiFi so might be worth a look.

Do you have any power in the summer house?

Has she tried running the headphone wires inside her top? Helps keep them out of the way. What phone does she have? Bluetooth headphones linked to that will probably be the easiest way if that's an option.

Try uninstalling the apps and add them again? Should be available from the MS store.

You don't have to use the touch part at all really - I don't. Download 8.1 (if it doesn't have it already and if it's a new computer I'd have thought it would) and it should boot you straight to the normal desktop (like Windows 7) anyway. Then just treat the Start menu bit with all the tiles as an expanded start menu. Click the icon or press the windows key on your keyboard, start typing the name of the program you want and off you go.

If they've admitted liability then your insurer will recover their costs from the third party. So they will pay for the repairs and then claim it back. Should be classed as non-fault and won't affect your NCD. Some insurance companies do charge more if you've had a non-fault claim though... Luck of the draw. I'd definitely ask if, now the 3rd party has admitted liability, you're due a reduction in your premium due to overpaying at renewal now the claims classed as non-fault.

PS4 and Xbox one can't keep up graphically with a decent gaming PC. Fair enough a PC will cost more (but not by much unless you buy a crazy pre-built system) but it's a much more rounded proposition than a console.

It's getting better for this now. Steam has a dedicated section for Mac games.

I had a Macbook Pro. It was ok but didn't really get used that much. The best thing was that I owned it for 3yrs and sold it on for £100 less than I paid for it. I probably couldn't have given a normal laptop away that was 3yrs old! I'm too ingrained with Windows, i know where to find everything and do what I want. I honestly didn't find OS X that intuitive. But then I like Windows 8 so what do I know!

Worth looking at First Direct? I've changed to them from normal HSBC and have no dread whatsoever when I need to pick up the phone to speak to a person. They're excellent as a current account supplier so I can't see why one of their credit cards should be any different.
