fruity
No shouldnt really have mucky eyes, may be worth ringing the vets for some eyewash or dropping in and get some drops

ferguson_tom
By mucky do you mean like gunky sleep sort of stuff? My springer and collie get a little bit every day but only a tiny bit in the corner of their eye. My collie got it a bit worse and took him to the vets he basically had conjunctivitis so got given drops and 3 or 4 days later all back to normal.
