hobgoblin
Morning all Any idea how much I would expect to pay for a " tidy" respray as I would like a bit better finish than a roller finish I am not after a concours finish but just a decent finish ? I would not care but I am a sprayer by trade ( powder coating  only now ) I do not want to spend more in a paint job than the landy is worth .... Any one round northeast you recommend ?? M1 Ps: or can you get a decent finish with a roller and a specialised paint for the job now nato green??brush it &it covers all!! or i've seen real tree cammo "fablon"/vinyl in shooting mags? look good in the advert! dollydip
roller it and choose a coach enamal the go on easy and look great theres some good topics on the landrover forums about this and the results are amazing if your painting a defender i wouldnt spend the money ona nice spray job as the body work on defenders never looks like a discovery even when new and the roller finish lookks as good as a spray job abyway i did my defender and it looked mint
Lord Geordie
I have my car in a propper body shop having a new cill fitted both rear arches repaired they are also removing 2 scratches from the rear doors and 2 scratches from the bumpers. (All done before I bought the car) Whole job is costing £300 Said he would have painted the whole car for £500 Had my 406 in there a few year back to have the wing straightened and a plastic weld to the bumper and repaint for £150. They do a booming trade and the taxi firms use them too
