Yes will kill brambles and dog rose no problem

The best way to kill em is to strimmer or hedge cut to the ground or as low as *** , let them reshoot to about 6 - 9" then spray with a selective spray ( Garlon 2 or Grazon 90 ) job done :good:

I had a similar question - domestic round up doesn't appear to have the welly for Essex brambles

I was going to have a chat with my farmer chum and get some industrial herbicide but I do have a concern about drift and other plants.

Is there anything specific for brambles? Or limited to a selection of vegetation including brambles?

Not sure how thick the stems are on your brambles but you may get through a bit of strimmer cord if they're quite thick. Didn't know whether you meant tractor hedgecutter or petrol hedgecutters but we often use petrol hedgecutters for thick stemmed brambles.

Hope this is of some use,

Rob
