scobydog
Hi all, just got a labrador rescue pup, 9 months old, bright dog, house trained, fetches balls and all the usual stuff. Would like to take it to the next level and train to use as a gundog. Does anybody know of a trainer near Stockport upto 10 miles away, or know of a good dvd or books that i could get, preferably ones that you have used yourselves. Thanks in advance John

essexfluke
Dont know your area but would recomend finding a club to train with, I started with my local wildfowling club training nights and got a lot of help. Anyway sorry cant be more help but good luck with the pup and keep it fun.
arwen3513
there a quite a lot of retreiver assoc that run training, try searching under this rather than labrador, you may get better results for gundog work.
