I'm a probationary member at a full bore rifle club at the mo, only a couple of months left until full membership! Benefits for me are that it gets me out of the house and away from the family for a few hours on a Sunday for some 'man' time, I get to chat with lots of like minded people who enjoy what I do, there is a variety of experience to answer questions etc and finally lots of people offer you to have a shot of their large weapons!

There is big benefits of been a member of a club besides its some where to unwind and talk to people with the same interests but there is always a wealth of knowledge to help you and you them.

Which club are you going to visit ?

I can second this,

Me and the gaffer are both in same club as MattF. It is great fun and as said the shared knowledge is well worth it.

I have learned so much from other members and now can enjoy the sport so much more.

Go for it.
