wanting a ak47 because I am a avid collector of them... have replicas etc and even the yunker... but now seeing as my FAC seems to be going ahead.... I want to get a .22 lr version....

To be honest, your better just getting a .223 Saiga M3. Leave the .22lr because itll be a disappointment.

I havent even seen either let alone used one, so dont know how valueable my opinion is to you but at least the Saiga is made by Izhmash and for all intensive purpose is as real AK except in straight pull.

Except that the Saiga can only be used at fullbore ranges and is for all intense and purposes a bolt action.

My .22lr AK I can use at my local club whenever I want and is semi-auto :good:

As per P.M. the Armscor ones look quite cheap, I would go for the Armi-Jaeger AP80, the only thing which IMHO lets the AP80 down is the fact that the Mag is not sleeved and looks like a .22lr mag.

I am working on that though :good:

Thank you everyone... I am not going to bisley.. sadly... but will hope to meet up some time and see the rifle...

I have been doing alot of searching and its near impossible to find one... I found all those links that you sent but it appears all the companys dont do them anymore... ahhhh.

oh well. I am not in a rush but will keep my eyes posted.

I know I seen it... I would love to have it now but still awaiting the fac to come through.. and will then have to add it as a varation plus semi auto.... apart from that yeah....

I have looked around and also like the m16 that are made.... hmmmmm would love them both but neither will be any fun apart from the gun club.. lol! dont want to be seen taking out bunny with a AK or a m16... do I?:good:?:good:?:good:??? LOL!!!

LOL true... I guess you could stalk bunnys legally.. however I would be concerned with the odd person/ bird watcher saying.. omg... I just saw a guy with a fully automatic rifle shooting at rabbits....

would be scary when armed police arrived but would be kinda funny to say.. nope its on my FAC and its only a semi auto .22lr.. :good:

but I dont think I will be doing that..... I would only shoot it at the club... scare the older members...lol! but I bet they seen it all anyway.... hmmmm

I still got a bruno with all the extras... and 200 quid for anyone who has a semi .22lr version of the AK...

I really really want one!!! which is why I am paying over the odds I know..

but I have to get rid of a rifle before I can swop.. hence why the bruno is in there.

anyone... lol
