SakoQuad
JC had some very impressive prices a few weeks ago but it looks as if prices may be rising again and some of what they were offering have clearly been bought up. A group of us bought 12k of a mixture of CompX and Hull Superfast - I think we are all starting to wish we had just got the Superfasts, but no more of them available at the moment. They give you a thump compared to the soft CompX but I have been hitting clays I have rarely managed before at Coley's and Farmington. I have noticed though that there is a fair amount of lead left in the forcing cone to get out after a session, could this be the shot is softer lead ie less antimony or the result of the higher pressure / velocity? Tomski1000
Redbeck shooting supplies up here in Yorkshire £152 per thousand for Hull CompX 21gm fibre Same cartridge at Coniston Shooting Ground £170 per thousand!!!! What's that all about. Kelbrook Shooting School usually have good priced cartridges, mainly Eley which I'm not keen on and it's a bit far away from me but good prices non the less.
