secretagentmole
Look on the UK Turkish Airgun Owners forum, seeing as they are made in Turkey! Edited April 7, 2012 by secretagentmole
Sharpshooter.123
They are ok but after firing one out the back of the shop I soon put it back! Iv felt less recoil on a

bruno22rf
Nothing personal, chrisyboy, but I have to be honest. For someone who is "not wealthy" you seem hell bent on throwing your money away.Bought the gun cos "you liked the look of it?"-biiig mistake-you should try before you buy anything if humanly possible. With such a limited budget you would have been wise to buy second hand-another £40 would have bought you a selection of Weirauch's (some new)or maybe even a TX200.If I were you and I had bought the Turkish Delight from a shop then I would use the distance selling laws to return the thing-I would then save a few more squid whilst visiting local shops/clubs to gain a little knowledge(knowledge is your best friend )then buy a gun on reputation and personal experience rather than cos it looks pretty. If in any doubt about buying an Airgun follow the Golden rule-if the barrel(at the very least)is not German then walk away. secretagentmole
Bruno, cannot help thinking you have got it wrong. German rifles have problems too. Some of the German rifles have problems too. I have a Turkish made gas rammed rifle that is smooth to cock, has a delightful trigger, German sourced mechanicals as well, fires with the gas ram short sharp recoil and walnut stocked as well. The cost of this rifle was well under £200, leaving enough for a Hawke HD scope to sit atop the beastie. Some of the rifles are very agricultural in feel, but as with many benefit from a strip down, polish and relube. Do not forget that quite a few guns that sell for more are now made in Turkey and rebadged, such is the way of life. Chrisyboy
thank you to both i will bear them both in mind but for now ill stick with the devil i think and see how it works nd save up a bit then i will probably buy a tx200 or a hw
secretagentmole
maybe wise to invest some money in a strip down and smoothing of any burrs off the action, then a decent relube and reassemble, can make the world of difference!

jimcam
With a bit of work any cheap airgun can be turned into a Diamond.(It only takes a bit of elbow grease). This Is Chrisyboys. It is a powerfull rifle out of the box.But before doing anything Chris will have to wait until he gets some pellets through it to get it bedded in.Jim.(Night Owl). richard1951
It sounds like his first gun , it will be fine, he can do as Mole says and strip it to get to know it from the inside out then if he is still wanting to shoot get something better later. We all started someware. In hindsight there may have been better ways to go but with this he can put a few 1000s through it then play taking apart and rebuild my first gun was a worn out Gats pistol and on thinking about it i took it apart and polished it inside so many times it is no wonder it never worked
secretagentmole
Er Bruno... You can polish a dropping you know. Ever heard of Coprolites? Google them. They are products from the rear end of a dinosaur. Here is a website selling them, polished... Pollshed pooh link! Anything is possible these days :P Edited April 12, 2012 by secretagentmole
bruno22rf
Stripping down and polishing high friction areas is fine-assuming you know what you are doing. This is really the domain of an Airgun specialist, which is why they exist.Doing the job yourself is satisfying but can cost you a finger or a fine if not done correctly.Interesting that someone has taken the time to find out if polishing a *urd is possible but I am not surprised that it involves Dinosaurs-after all thats when the Kral rifles were designed. BTW-had a Kral shotgun a few years back-it fell to pieces after less than 4 years.
