zipdog
They are good scopes for the money but a bit overkill for an airgun. A 3-9x40 will be plenty for air gun ranges.

Yep, I have one on my rimmy. It has the illuminated reticle/adjustable objective. It is a really good buy, great quality and I would recommend it to anyone. I would agree however that the 24 mag is surplus to requirements. even for rimfire ranges, it is too much mag to use and I just keep mine on 12 which is more than enough. Consider getting the 4-16 X 50 version. Have a look at JSR - Really good customer service NIKKO GAMEKING LINK
bruno22rf
Got one on my AA S400-nice scope and the adjustments are very positive-it is a bit ott for an airgun but it works just fine-good clear optics but you need to focus the objective lens for different ranges to get the clearest picture. I find that with the rimmy zero'd at 50yds and AO set at 50yds - that does for the vast majority of shots, even out to 100yds.... only time I feel the need to adjust it is when a bunny pops out at 20 yds or so. As above, nice optics, covered turrets so settings cant accidentally be knocked, rarely need to re-zero (just new batches of ammo really)....just a damn good scope for the money - buy one and you wont be disappointed. If you get the Illuminated scope you will find that it is both red and green at various light intensities. Lowest setting is best. I use a red cree flashlight on my rifle and the low intensity red reticle is good with the red of me torch.
