Siberian Tiger Posted April 10, 2012 Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 Coniston is a lovely little ground. Most of the sporting stands are in the woods with some very nice birds. They have a couple of simo game stands in the bunkers at the front as well as skeet and I think DTL. Clubhouse does some ace bacon butties Prices for clays are pretty average as I recall (25 - 27) I guess, though I just play then pay and don't take too much notice. If you are feeling really hungry, The Coniston Hotel does some cracking food in their new huntsmans lodge with views over the estate lake. BlaserF3 Posted April 10, 2012 Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 I was there a couple of weeks ago, layouts are OK, but the bacon was not brilliant and the milk in the jug was that UHT stuff I think that in some ways their old style layouts were better to shot as you were given loads of different angles from one stand. miniross Posted April 10, 2012 Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 I have shot there a few times recently as I'm only over the hill in Pateley bridge good ground an nice lodge food is spot on too, the clays are pricey tho 28p per clay so hundred is £28 most expensive around here, I shoot over at Kelbrook quite alot and as a member there I only pay £22 for hundred clay but non members are 26 free tea and coffee through the week as well Mark Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
