PotHunter96
a quick question: if for example you put in for a .22lr and whatever other calibres you required, and you wanted another .22lr would you have to put in a variation for another .22 or if you ask for a certain calibre are you then cleared to have as many rifles of that calibre you require??? stumpy69
You have to state the number of each calibre rifle you will need. For example of you want two .22lr you would have to apply for two and show you have good reason to have two, i.e one for day and one with night vision. Edit to avoid spelling nazi. bedwards1966
Nope, as said you have to apply for a slot for each one, unlike shotguns. The same goes for the moderators. Another stupid element of the rules, I don't see how anyone can be more dangerous with 1 rifle or 100, but there you have it! The most common 'good reason' which you have to prove to get 2 rifles seems to be to have one set up for night vision and one for day work. PotHunter96
okay thanks im 14 nearly 15 and am having my SGC interview next week and was thinking of maybe applying for my fac next year and hopefuly get a rifle gifted to me. if all goes to plan i would apply for a .17 hmr for rabbtis, corvids, and most importantley, foxes and a .22 for rabbits and lamping etc . but of course would probably end up having some form of mentoring condition put in place.
