turbo33
I've been a shorgun cert holder for 36 years and have just put in for FAC air, .22lr and .17hmr. You hear all sorts of stories from round the country of mentors, special conditions, waiting for months. Just wondering if anyone has had any recent experiences with firearms application in surrey as to the above. I just want to make sure I have all the boxes ticked for when the FEO visits and to avoid uneccesary delays. Thanks.
Robin128
No knowledge of Surrey delays but you may be aware that the cuts are playing havoc with service. Give them a polite reminder...give them a ring. Read up on this in the meantime...especially the bits about ricochet and safe shots. Also, you do have adequate capacity in your cabinet? You will also need written permission to shoot over appropriate land and maybe a mentor to show you the ropes. Stay safe. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/173038-safe-shooting/
swiss.tony
Every thing you have bin told is 99 per cent true as the custmers we nearly all get a shocking service from them with the main 1 is time some areas seam better than most over my way north yorkshire give open tickets out a lot better than most forces. If you have the correct land for the rifles you will have no problems wats so ever so get window shoping you will love the hmr trust me fantastic tools hope you get sorted soon ....swiss
