rabbitstopper
Hello, i have got the following chokes for my gun but i'm woundering what size they are in realation to 1/2 or 1/4 etc They are: Skeet Imp Cylinder Modified Imp Modified Thanks James
Malc
I'm not 100% sure, but I think the choke sizes you mention are all less than 1/4 choke. A barrel with no choke is termed True Cylinder and choke constrictions increase from there.
rabbitstopper
You sure as with thegun new it also came with Full and it was classed as a full choke set and if they were all below 1/4 this would not be true would it??? I'm sooo confused Help me!!!
hymax12
evining well starting from full choke you go down to improved modified= 3/4 , modified= 1/2 , 1/4= same, improved cylinder= cylinder, cylinder is 729 or open barrel , skeet =skeet or negative open choke hope this helps thats going of the american chokes russ

Cranfield
Hi rabbitstopper, the choke equivalents are as follows; Improved Modified = three quarters. Modified = one half. Improved Cylinder/Skeet 2 = one quarter. True Cylinder/ Skeet 1 = True Cylinder. Full choke = Full choke. I hope that answers your question.
