Dr_evil
No fluid in the master cylinder, DOH. Bled it through and everything's much better, still notchy/lumpy into first but it always has been. Check the pedal, master and slave for leaks and there's nothing obvious so I'll keep an eye on the master cylinder level and take it from there. Thanks to everyone who posted advice it's very much appreciated, regards. Boom I was right
decroyffe
Just thinking about it, I would say if theres no sign of leaks then its more likely be the slave cylinder and it leaking into your clutch bell housing so keep an eye on it as to much can contaminate your clutch as said its not that bigger job to change one just take your time when pulling the old one out because if you pull to hard up can pull the push rod out of its plastic housing and they are a ****** to get back in so make sure you pull and twist at the same time this tends break the seal, good luck. What would solve that problem then, replacing the slave cylinder???
Gordon R
Yes. It will happen again if you don't.
