Cranfield Posted May 1, 2012 Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 The cam belt isn't too bad, but you don't want the clutch to go. My wife had an 03 VW Passat Estate (now sold), the clutch needed replacing last Autumn and it had the clutch with the dual mass flywheel, nobody (incl two Clutch Clinic type places) would quote less than £1000 to replace the whole unit.
