keg
I currently have a Deben Tracer Max scope mouted light but am considering a clulite Blazer. Biggest issue for me is i stay away from home 1-2 nights a week on business and have a permission near where i stay. The blazer i can stick to my screen and also has a much bigger range of movement on the scope mount whereas the tracer is limited. Has anyone got any views or ha sused one?. Thanks Tim
wymberley
The Blazer is a good bit of kit. Do I asume you are looking at the screen mount set up? For that use it would be ideal. Scope mounted, you have a full range of movement and performance wise it must be said that it's shaded by the Lightforce 170 but you're still talking 200 yards. One point over the 170 is that you don't lose the target on firing - I can do with the 170 because of the spring set up in the beam adjustment/recoil. steve_b_wales
I have used a Blazerlite lamp for many years, both as a scope mounted one and hand held. It's one of the best lamps that I have owned. Very light in weight and very bright. On a dark night,I have known the beam to reach at least 350 yards. Coloured filters are reasonably priced and the aftersales service is second to none.
