clippo Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 hi i need to get the wife a co2 pistol as she got a bit of a rat problem at our stables,and her using my gun aint a option as its to heavy for her and tbh id rather she didnt touch it ,so im on the lookout for a good powered co2 pistol,i been looking into the crossman 2240 as its seems simple enough for her to use and power aint bad,has anyone got any other sugestions from past experience which i could look into cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think you should look at something with a shoulder stock. Pistols aren't easy to shoot accurately and you can easily wound rather than kill them. amateur Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 Unless your wife is a crack-shot with a pistol, I would suggest the 2250 rat-catcher rifle rather than the 2240 rat-buster pistol. The stock gives it more stability, and you also get a little more power - but otherwise it's the same gun. Are you considering fitting a laser sight for rapid target acquisition?
