Anschutz 1417 cartridge ejection problem..............

A bit of gunge in there can cause problems as well. Just a quick strip and clean required. Two minute job. I found it happened due to leaving the moderator on after using reduced loads. All the unburned powder residue drops down the barrel and if you've left the bolt in, that's where you get ingress of gunge. It can also effect the firing pin as it gets through the hole in the bolt face. Very simple to strip and clean the whole unit though.

You are right but i do clean mine..and it still happens..only on my annie 22rf and not my annie 17hmr.

might sound a bit daft but mine suffered the same problem now and again,oiled the bolt on the advice of frank dyke&co and it improved no end,apparently if the bolt is running slightly dry it doesnt go back the full way, stopping the ejector from "ejecting" properley,worked on mine anyway
