scutt
No reccomendations but a little advise Alan depends on what you think is good might pay you to make a list out of what you want or don't want for the dog.i.e. cheap clean kept inside or out exercised etc a lot of gundog owners just want the dog housed fed and kept clean no exercise cos they don.t want flyball or stick throwing type sesions that might put the training back a bit. there's lots of kennels about offering the likes of fireside comfort or even training but take note most if not all will insist that the dogs inoculations are up to date . do you have any pals that you can trust to look after your dog thats what my small circle of gundog owners/friends do. Actionpigeons
hi all .can anyone recommend any good boarding kennels in tyne-wear. alan If your dogs live outside in kennels, why not ask a mate to come around once a day and feed them and if he has the time give them a quick walk. When I go away I send the lab to a mates I go shooting with as she will work for him, and a 2nd mate pops round once a day and feed the Springer’s. My next-door neighbour keeps an eye on things and also has my mates phone number in case of a problem.. When he goes away I do the same for him. Work out well for us all Edited May 18, 2012 by Actionpigeons

arwen3513
we have professional dog sitter comes in, lives in the house, with the dogs, so their routine doesnt change apart from the training. sitters also look after house and garden and feeds fish. much cheaper than kennels for 3 jan
