ging125
Do you insure you guns and optics for fire theft and accidental damage? Mine are currently on the house insurance but after reading the fine print are not that well covered! Many home insurance dont cover firearms fully for "normal circumstances!" Who do you insure you guns and optics with? If u dont mind me asking, how much for the premium?
mickmep
this was done a while ago so a ssearcgh should bring up a thread about it. personally mine are covered on house contents insurance for home and out playing. most were covered under the normal policy but had to pay extra/list a couple of the more expensive ones. jackinbox99
Mine are also covered under house insurance. I actually asked my insurer to confirm. They did sound a bit unsure initially when I asked them, so I guess its not something they get asked a lot.
steve_b_wales
All my firearms are covered with my house insurance, under Sporting Goods. The insurance covers loss or damage to any of them.
BangBangNik
My shotgun is covered on the house insurance against theft or accidental damage both in or out of the house. I have had to specify it along with 2 mountain bikes due to the value.

Will Poon
I called my insurance company up and they would insure guns in contents insurance , but don't forget there are insurance excess to pay first before they pay out, maybe 2 to 400 pound depending on your insurer. But I spoke o BASC and it's about £60. Per £1000.00 of firearm with no excess

vulpicide
I have specified sporting equipment and listed my guns and fishing gear separately so they are insured for theft or accidental damage in the house or when in use.
