We have a single cylinder inboard diesel engine in our boat a Stuart Sole mini3 (a re branded Lamberini engine) I heard they were built for pumping water in India and many are in those parts. They were marinised by a company in Spain and distributed by Stuart Sole throughout the U.K. My problem is Diamond diesel want nearly £800 pounds for just one piston and I would like to know if I have got to pay that or would a company be able to match the piston up with something similar? I would think you could get one made from scratch for less than £800. I don't know if Omega still exist in Oldbury West Midlands? They make pistons. I think you meant FERRARIS piston services www.fpsdistribution.com As for the piston I would have thought any good engineering company that does engine work could match the piston, and they will want a piston to bore the cylinder.
