fridayfish
After the recent wind and rain here in Wiltshire we have lots of flat corn, is it too early? Only the barley has flowered so has a seed of sort on it or will the pigeon go for it anyway?
Shooting Tom
if its milky they will love it. its to early here needs 2 more weeks for barley and rape. 3 to 4 weeks for wheat. best thing to do is to go and have a look mid afternoon seems the best time of day here for pigeon activity. turbo33
Just been to have a look at ours. As Tom says, about another 10 days for the barley, not sure if then wheat won't be there too Popped a couple of grains to see the barley is just going milky now,
simbasausage
If you have flat barley, and pigeons are on it it's never to early!
