just a quick question guys, what mag do you use your scope on for hunting, on a 12ftlb air rifle, i normelly have mine on 6, but ive been told to put it on 10 what do you guys have yours on

i use a fixed 10 x super sniper scope on my air rifle for hunting and HFT comps, I also have the same scope on my .223 for target shooting up to 600yds and it does the job just fine.

depends on how close ya are to the target if im too close its blurred on 9 so i turn back untill its not blurred anymore

I usually have mine between 4-6x at about 20 yards or so. Likewise, mine blurrs if I use too high mag at too close a target, it seems to be well balanced tho, so for long range shots I would be using the highest mag setting. Dont forget also that the higher the mag the more your body shake is magnified, so its a case of striking a balance which your comfortable with.

I run on 5-6 you dont need any more than this.

Hunt at 8 Mag suits me fine... High enough for accurate shot placement without too many 'wobbles'

i like 6x mag. especially around the last of the nettles.

normaly about 6x mag unless im doing long range targets down the club then i wind it up a bit
