countryman
Hi Go and have a look at a Toyota Land Cruiser. The build quality is second to none and they are ultra reliable. On the down side they are quite expensive. But £5000 will buy you something that will last for years even if it is a bit old. Chris

shaun4860
Ive had 2 xtrails, liked both of them for your budget you will get a nice one, Big inside, quite economical (40 on a run, 30ish round the doors) Tax is about £255 a year, you will struggle to get any sort of off road tyre for the 17" rims, some have 16" rims and they are no bother. anything above the "sport" model should have leather, satnav etc I prefer the xtrail to the honda looks wise, people will tell you the turbo's are iffy on th xtrail, I never had any bother with my turbo's I had to replace the mass air flow meter in the first one and a wheel bearing on the second and that was it. Would I have another.......YES in a heartbeat. nice colour, low miles http://www4.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201220471366032/sort/default/usedcars/price-from/7000/fuel-type/diesel/transmission/manual/price-to/10000/model/x-trail/make/nissan/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/brandnew/page/13/radius/1500/postcode/ne630bt?logcode=p Edited June 24, 2012 by shaun4860
