freelander 2 td4,new shape, heard they have still got problems

discovery td5,usual lr problems

suzuki grand vitara 1.9,hard ride and expensive to maintain

lexus rx 300 3.0,auto and petrol so mpg is not good

nissan x trial,good reviews

honda crv,looks better than nissan

kia serento 2.5,this is winning so far,mpg good, ability and equipment good and a big 4x4

anybody own one of the above and can give a review one way or the other :hmm:

Ive had 2 xtrails, liked both of them

for your budget you will get a nice one,

Big inside, quite economical (40 on a run, 30ish round the doors)

Tax is about £255 a year, you will struggle to get any sort of off road tyre for the 17" rims, some have 16" rims and they are no bother.

anything above the "sport" model should have leather, satnav etc

I prefer the xtrail to the honda looks wise,

people will tell you the turbo's are iffy on th xtrail, I never had any bother with my turbo's

I had to replace the mass air flow meter in the first one and a wheel bearing on the second and that was it.

Would I have another.......YES in a heartbeat.

nice colour, low miles
