flash
i have seen one advertised in very good condition for 200 scrotes, its .22 with a heavy barel and is screw cut for moderator. are these as good as the 452, i have heard they are not very commonly seen rifles, anyone had any experience. cheers flash
A Sick Old Man
Bloody hell thats an old bit of kit, very good though. just make sure you trust the RFD as getting a trusted opinion on barrel ware would be a good idea on such an old iron. takes an awful lot of rounds to ware out a .22 barrel, it only really occures on club guns where they are shot every night for years. The only other factor would be the weight of it, and getting any spares. All the best, Sick

Sussexboy
The BRNO Model 4 is a very sought after bit of kit across the pond in the US. It is highly rated as being much better quality than the current crop of CZ/BRNO rifles. But as always you need to beware when buying an old rifle that you don't know the history of. For £200 though if its in good nick it should be a good shooter.
A Sick Old Man
I have purchased this rifle from SYSS, and am well chuffed with it. I looked at a lot of articles on the web re the No4 and no one had a bad word to say I had a bit of teething trouble with the trigger spring as it was set to bench rest, very light indeed. Breaking wind would set the ****** off I called Roger at SYSS and he sent me down some new springs ASAP and now its very sweet, I would put up some phot's but the site will not let me A lovely rifle with a bit of character, and so much quiter and more accurate than my 10/22. Bit heavy though

A Sick Old Man
With luck there should be some photos of the No4, I have a CZ .17HMR American and the finish on this BRNO is much better. But the HMR is still very good for the money, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/ASi...an/P1010006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/ASi...an/P1010005.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/ASi...an/P1010004.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/ASi...an/P1010003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/ASi...an/P1010002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/ASi...an/P1010001.jpg
