wildfowler.250
Wouldnt of thougt the land size was an issue? More the suitability of it?
foxnet22
hi mate i got 150acres cleared for this calibre, like wildfowler says suppose it goes down to the suitability of the land ie backstops ,etc.
kent
Wouldnt of thougt the land size was an issue? More the suitability of it? +1 size of the plot dont make it safe on 1000,000 acres it aint safe unless you know were the shot ends up and can leave the boundry if close enough with no backstop
JDFrain
cheers lads those were all my thoughts, been to have a look round some new permission today, it is small but should be suitable as nothing round it but fields, woods and backstops cheers JDF

ging125
Mine was granted on 70 acre but was on a hill side so plenty of backstop!
bedwards1966
My .243 was granted for 30 acres, covering deer and fox. There are no limits, but you won't get one for a 2 acre paddock, but 30 acres was fine. If there is a need for it and a backstop that's all that's needed. Andy H
One of mine is 280 acres with road running through the middle school on one edge and an housing estate on the other and it's as flat as a pancake but it's cleared for 308, Mind you the farmer has 3 huge stacks of hay bales that i can sit in and shoot down from.
