JDsniper
Hi I have had my FAC a couple of months now but due to the condition put on both my calibers i need a mentor. The gents that i had planned to use are just too busy with work. I have got .22LR And .22 Hornet but have not even zeroed the rifles yet as unable to get out. So if anybody would be in the position to offer me some time to take me out and help set up my rifles and then provide me with a document if they are happy to enable me to get the conditions removed. I am free most the time apart from wednesday friday and saturday nights and am located close to Redditch. I have had experience with .22LR and provided evidence with my application but still got this condition i have also been a S/G certificate holder for over 6 years and have full insurance through BASC If any one could possible help me out i am sure i could sort a case of beer. Many thanks Edited July 2, 2012 by JDsniper

magman
Are you a member of BASC or SACS as the mentor seems unreasonable for a 22lr or hornet
jef
I don't understand if they felt the need to give you the condition, why bother giving you the guns? Am I right in thinking they have basically siad, "Ok you can have the two rifles however you cant go out and use them" Or, " We don't trust you enough to use the guns but by all means have them anyway."???? JDsniper
Yes Mate have already contacted them and been advised call up and speak to the licensing manager for my force and ask them to be removed, So i did but he was busy and his assistant told me to wright in and and ask for the conditions to be removed but we usual take the conditions off after 6 Months plus they are not the quickest. So i thought i would have a plan B

kent
Are you a member of BASC or SACS as the mentor seems unreasonable for a 22lr or hornet it seems unreasonable for the LR but the hornet is still a centrefire that doesnt give massive amounts of speed or power away to the likes of the .222 say
