Hi All,

I took my day scope (meopta) of my 243 a while ago to try my night sight on, and after getting a 17hmr (for the night vision) I put my meopta back on - however when i try and zero now it fires to the right and i dont have anymore adjustment on my scope, i have tried remounting and it is still the same.

Does anyone know what this could be - could be me being daft and not getting the mounts right but i have tried this a couple of times - but dont know how else i can try an mount to fix this??

Mounts are two piece bases and rings.

Thanks

I am 99.99% sure you mounted it wrong. could be the mounts or maybee you just have the scope 90 degrees out and have the elivation and widages out of wack? If its 1" tube just fasten in a length of 1" staight bar a couple of foot long and look for mis alignment along barrel

As it worked before I'd suggest it's down to the mounting. Try a few things.

Change the mounts round back to front

Turn the mounts round side to side

Turn the front mount round

Turn the rear mount round

Failing that get a set of mounts with windage adjustment. If you're anywhere near Howden visit Steve Kershaw and get it sorted. Likely though it'll be sortable before then.
