the last engineer
this is directed to any of the Irish guys here, can anyone translate this card for me, it was sent to the wife's Granfather from De valera in 57 we have no idea what it actualy says. this and a few pictures came to light after here mother passed earlier this year, the assosiation of her family and that of De valera and Colins is facinating to say the least. the picture is from the Irish Press with Eamon De valera holding court, her Grandfather is behind him, would love to source this picture and find out what the event was. have been reading up on both guys Colins and De Valera, fasinating is all i can say, so little i knew and what i did know seems a little tarnished from the British side. anyway, thanks for any help i can get with the translation. the last engineer
thanks for the replies, a good call on the season i guess, though it does seem like a lot of words. i cant figure out one of them myself, nothing looks familiar at all. there are a few more, i think the wife has them, i'll check them out too, got to love this history bit. now i found out my name is linked with a AScottish Brewery, looking into it deeper to see if any inheritance is available,,,,,, in the form of a tipple or two,,,, taken a fancy to the Jura and Oban.
