DaveK
I looked through one of these last night and im VERY keen to learn more about them, it takes a lot to interest me with respect to new kit and the 550 has got my attention! The vid is a good example of how the rabbits show up in the scope Chris. Maybe a little less gain on the brightness would have shown them better. Jesse James
Thanks for your comments. The closet rabbit on chippings (Path) was at 80 yrds. the furthest rabbits seen are at around 240 yrds. I'm standing at the start of the horse run, this is only the start of the horse run there's another 170 acres of this path running around the land and just as many rabbits on all corners and on all fields. More video to follow. lee

This is also in the day time gents ( I should have said) at 7.30 pm, yes you are correct, the level of brightness was a little high, but now I can see how this shows on the recording, I can adjust. Don't take any notice of the time on display its wrong on Pulsar. thanks again.. Edited July 12, 2012 by Jesse James

al4x
If all these are in daylight have you any shots in the dark? and how do you get on with the low level of magnification do you find it an issue over range? I have to say I do like to wind my archer up on longer shots, what mag do they run and can you adjust it?
aister
serious holdover on the second rabbit :o

I have to say I do like to wind my archer up on longer shots, what mag do they run and can you adjust it? Hi Alex. The honest answer is no not yet on shots in the "Dark" as such, the battery on the recorder unit ran out at 9.40 and it was still not dark. (I did not charge the battery on the recorder) when I received it the other day, so it ran out quicker than I thought. Out 2 night on golf course so will film plenty tonight. No Issue Alex with magnification, I have the Sony doubler on the front of it too. to be honest I can see further than I can shoot.... This is on my .22LR so I only shoot out to 80 - 90yrds. My .17HMR and Pulsar I shoot out to 180 yrds and can see vermin no problem clearly. Hope this helps with your question. Here's the low down on the Pulsar. Jesse James
serious holdover on the second rabbit :o LOL.... Yeah would need some serious hold over on that one at that range... I did not shoot the second rabbit due to location "horse in rear field" (behind it). Just noted it and got it on camera ready to go back to it. thanks again gents for comments.
