last couple of years me and my shooting pals have been piped to the line by other shooters all season it seems, all we could do was sit back and watch them have the time of there lives. problem is, were we shoot many other like mined lads also do! in a word its dog eat dog round here, im sure a few of you lads have this recuring nightmere also. me and my mates like to watch fields for days, get to know were the birds are coming from and were there going to, also to let it build to maximise our chance of a cracking day. so after putting in all this hard graft, turning up on

D-day to find others there just crushes ya. well this year the b team's fighting back, weve been scouting well early this year and hopefully its payed off! weve got a field we have watched build up for days (layed barly) 500+ birds now. again weve took a chance sticking to our (watch and wait plan) but there hasnt been a sniff of another shooter around, finealy there on there heals and not us... tomorrow ill kick my season off nice and early to what looks to be a stonker, cant wait! i truly love this sport..... and if your in a simialer possistion to us! my advice is to get out there NOW.

Over the years we've all suffered from fine weather shooters, you turn out rain and shine to protect the crops and when the stubble is there the drive to there bale hide and have an easy time. I believe In Karma in other worlds you get out of it what you put into it . These guys never seem to be around for long so you have to accept it . I had one who set up in the sun on a field that I was going to shoot it then rained and he got stuck in his "far east 4X4 and as I pulled him off the field with the Disco he grounded the back end and pulled his tow bar off. What a shame!!!!
