Mungler Posted July 20, 2012 Report Share Posted July 20, 2012 Any of the biggy hotels are tip top. Stay away from the kids ones. Go mad, they are all awesome and can be secured for Travel lodge money if you book smart and make sure you don't rock up in the week of the Tupperware or Comtech conferences (when all rooms become scarce and the prices triple). Regardless of where you stay have a wander about - I never stayed in the New York (bit too family orientated) but we ended up there most mornings for the breakfast which was flipping awesome. 88b Posted July 20, 2012 Report Share Posted July 20, 2012 The Stratoshere is at one end of the strip, the far end from MGM etc. The Rio is very nice with excellent buffets, if you want cheap and good the is a motel 6 oppoasite the main entrance of the MGM grand, we stayed there once when we just turned up without reservations, it's clean and comfortable and 100 yards from the strip. By there the imperial palace, 1 dollar beers cheap tables too.
