harpoonlouis
soz m8 ur wrong consult BASC.If you think I give 2F's about them, their comment, you should not take this as law, enough said. BASC In particular, care should be taken when siting Guns near roads. Section 161 of the Highways Act 1980 (England & Wales) makes it an offence to discharge a firearm within 50 ft of the centre of a highway with vehicular rights without lawful authority or excuse, if as a result a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered. I give up at this point.
la bala
That piece of **** is riddled with inaccuracies. You can shoot within 50ft of the centre of a road, as long as you don't cause alarm or inconvenience to people. yup

I give up at this point. personally i don't have to make this point, but I will 1:"lawful authority or excuse" ,permission on land to shoot under the general licence is that point, "if as a result a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered",what this means is if you shoot a pigoen and it lands on a highway and hit a car or person ,causes them to deviate(and that does not mean them choosing to cross the road because of the noise)but interrruped means a pigoen lands in the road and they swerve,if you are with in 50 ft of the center of the road and you caused that then you are in the ****,AND only if that happens,if none of that happens then you have committed no offence. The word you are needing to focus on is "IF" hope that has cleared that up for you Edited July 26, 2012 by retromlc
