turbo33
I managed to finish work at 3 today so the plan was to cram in a couple of hours shooting over the Barley stubble. I had a choice of two fields. One still had the bales on the other had been cleared. The way my luck has been going lately, I thought if I set up on the baled field, where most of the pigeons are, the lads will start moving them off as soon as I'm set up!! So I picked the quieter spot. Just as well as thats exactly what happened!! Set up by 4 and had a reasonable flo of birds. I was more on a mision to get the black stuff, but the pigeons were quite obliging too I finished at 6 with 24 pigeons picked, 2 lost in thick brambles and 10 crows, two lost in the same. I have only put a pick of the crows in as the flies were really determined, so the pigeons stayed in the bespoke fly proof bag that Blue Barrels made me Its cracking mate :good: While going thru the photos, I have one of Jack retrieving from the day Bluebarrels and I had on the laid wheat a week or so ago......he's coming on
