andypaint
Could be a few things, wheel balance, loose wheel bearing, stuck brake caliper, gearbox bearing, worn driveshafts. Does it stop when you press clutch down, or change when you brake?

Had this vibration for a while now and have lived with it but its getting on my nerves now! To date we have changed the front propshaft ujs, there was play in them, the front wishbones as the bushes had play in them, had wheels balance and tyres checked, all ok, put another set of wheels of another D40 but no difference, we detached the front prop shaft vibration disapeared, so we changed the fron diff, vibration still there and worse, my truch has done 110,000 the diff was off a 26,000 miler. The vibration is between 60-80mph Been suggested to replace clutch!! vibration is from the front, since fitting replacment diff the vibration is more pronounced through steering wheel! *** is going on? Did you check that the new front diff have the same ratio as the rear diff?

stumpy69
Does sound like the wheel bearing, watch out as they go from a little vibration to almost undravable very suddenly. If it is the wheel bearing DO NOT get replacement from nissan. They charge something like £300 for one when you can get them online for under £100 (you cant just replace the bearing need to change the whole assembly). Alos if it is I would change both sides at the same time mine bith went within 200miles of each other.
